Join us for a weekend of transformative meditation and yoga practices in the old stone church at Peppers on The Point, an historical site overlooking Lake Rotorua. Together we will explore the inner spaces of body and mind with kind-hearted intention. Building our collective heart field, sharing insights, and reaffirming our shared humanity.
Lunch is included on Saturday.
Tove our facilitator has the intention of providing practices that are enlivening and strength building.
Yoga sessions will include core strengthening to wake up the foundation of your body with the intention to embody determination.
The pranayama practice will bring awareness to your solar plexus, the energetic root of your will.
The meditation sessions will be guided in general following a Zen-style that encourages you to explore interior space and discover insights that apply to your life.

The Thing Is
By Ellen Bass
to love life, to love it even
when you have no stomach for it
and everything you’ve held dear
crumbles like burnt paper in your hands,
your throat filled with the silt of it.
When grief sits with you, its tropical heat
thickening the air, heavy as water
more fit for gills than lungs;
when grief weights you down like your own flesh
only more of it, an obesity of grief,
you think, How can a body withstand this?
Then you hold life like a face
between your palms, a plain face,
no charming smile, no violet eyes,
and you say, yes, I will take you
I will love you, again.
We will explore why and how we grieve.
Looking at what helps. Exploring how opening our heart to grief can be a pathway to transformation and wholehearted living.
